The Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman) is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 59 (4), Chapter Fifteen of the Constitution of Kenya and operationalised through the Commission on Administrative Justice Act, 2011. The Commission holds a critical mandate of addressing all forms of maladministration within the public sector, with a focus on promoting fairness, accountability, transparency, and administrative justice in public service delivery. In addition, the Commission oversees and enforces the implementation of the Access to Information Act, 2016, ensuring citizens exercise their right to information held by public institutions.

In line with its mandate and ongoing institutional strengthening, the Commission invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to fill the following vacant positions. These roles support effective service delivery, internal governance, and operational efficiency at the Head Office.

Each position plays a vital role in advancing the Commission’s objectives. The Director Strategy Research and Compliance provides leadership in institutional planning and compliance oversight. The Finance Officer I supports sound financial management and accountability. The Legal Officer I strengthens advisory and legal compliance functions, while the Driver II supports official mobility and logistical operations.
