The PNGDF Recruitment Office does not accept hand delivered or mailed applications. Every applicant is required to follow the digital submission process without exception.
Successful applicants will be notified through national media outlets and will take part in a detailed screening program before training begins in 2026. The screening covers English proficiency, medical checks, psychological assessment, and physical fitness.

Screening and Reporting Guidelines
If your name appears on the official online selection list, you will be required to attend the screening sessions. Those who report without being on the list face arrest by military police. Screening centres enforce strict identification checks.

• Grade 12 certificate with C grades or higher in Maths and English
• Single
• Minimum height 165 cm
• No medical conditions or deformities. This includes drug use, CHS, penile modification, HIV, VDRL, Hepatitis B, hypertension, anemia, color blindness, obesity, pregnancy, or any chronic condition
• Citizen of Papua New Guinea
• Computer literate
• Ready for literacy, medical, psychological, and physical fitness tests
