GlobeLEQ is offering a three-year learnership opportunity for individuals interested in becoming qualified Industrial Electricians. This program is open to residents of Boshof and Hertzogville within the Tokologo Local Municipality. The learnership provides structured technical training and practical experience that leads to a trade qualification as an Industrial Electrician. The program is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to work safely, efficiently, and professionally in the electrical industry.
Program Overview
Participants will undergo structured training in three key phases at the Artisan Training Institute. The program includes:
Phase 1, 2, and 3 training modules focused on technical skills and workplace readiness.
The opportunity to complete a trade test and earn a nationally recognized qualification as an Industrial Electrician.
Comprehensive mentoring and industry exposure throughout the three-year program.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Industrial Electrician Learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a resident of Boshof or Hertzogville in the Tokologo Local Municipality.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate with Pure Mathematics and Science, or an N2 certificate with four relevant subjects.
- Be physically fit and pass a medical job-fit assessment (RFA).
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career as an Industrial Electrician.
- Preference will be given to applicants who meet all the stated requirements and can provide valid documentation of residence within the specified areas.
