PRESS RELEASE! TRAINING OPPORTUNITY SHORT COURSE-IN HEALTH PROMOTION

The Malawi College of Health Sciences (MCHS), Zomba Campus, is pleased to announce an upcoming short course training in Health Promotion, scheduled as follows:
Date: 8th 12th December 2025
Venue: Malawi College of Health Sciences, Zomba Campus
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The course is open to individuals who possess a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and are currently working in the field of preventive health. The course targets Health Promotion Officers seeking to enhance their skills, knowledge and competencies, as well as individuals aspiring to pursue a career in Health Promotion.
COURSE CONTENT:
The training will be facilitated by experienced Health Promotion Specialists and will cover key topics such as:
• Health Promotion Governance, Policies and Strategies
.• Social and-Behaviour Change Models
• Multimedia Development Processes
• Social Marketing and Media Engagement
• Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation in Health Promotion
The training will be delivered through face-to-face sessions.
Upon completion, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance and Participation, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits will be provided where applicable.
