Re-Opening of 2026 MANEB Examination Registration and Fee Payment in Malawi

Re-Opening of 2026 Examination Registration and Fee Payment – Malawi

The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has announced the re-opening of the 2026 examination registration and fee payment platforms. This update is directed to all Examination Centres, prospective 2026 candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public. The e-Registration and e-Payment systems will be available again starting 12th January 2026, from 5:00 AM to 12:00 midnight.

This re-opening comes in response to an increased number of queries from Examination Centres and members of the public regarding registration issues, late submissions, and payment concerns. MANEB recognizes the need to provide an additional window to ensure that all eligible candidates can complete their registration and fee payment without unnecessary obstacles.

Purpose of the Re-Opening

The re-opened platforms will allow:

  • Examination Centres to register new candidates for the 2026 exams.

  • Centres to review and correct any errors in previous registrations, including spelling mistakes, incorrect candidate information, or missing details.

  • Parents, guardians, and candidates to make payments for newly registered candidates.

  • Candidates who missed the initial payment deadline of 31st December 2025 to pay the applicable examination fees and secure their eligibility.

Approved Payment Platforms

Candidates and guardians are reminded that examination fee payments must be made through officially approved channels. The following platforms are available:

  • Airtel Money

  • TNM Mpamba

  • National Bank of Malawi

  • First Capital Bank

  • Standard Bank

  • FDH Bank

  • NBS Bank

MANEB emphasizes that payments made outside these approved channels will not be accepted, and such transactions may result in registration issues.

Important Notes

  • The re-opening period is final. There will be no further extension for registration or payment beyond the 12th January 2026 deadline.

  • All Examination Centres, candidates, parents, and guardians are urged to complete their registration and payments promptly to avoid delays or disqualification.

  • Candidates should ensure that all personal and academic details submitted during registration are accurate, as errors may affect examination eligibility.

Contact and Support

For further assistance regarding the registration and payment process, Examination Centres and candidates can contact MANEB directly through official channels. MANEB encourages all stakeholders to act early within the re-opening window to prevent last-minute issues.

This initiative demonstrates MANEB’s commitment to providing equitable access to examination services for all eligible candidates in Malawi.
