This communique’ serves to inform you that the provisional 2025 JCE results have been published and candidates will be informed of how they can access their Statement of Results at a later date.
Importance of Checking Candidate Details on Statement of Results (SoR)
Please check and verify that the following details about you have been accurately captured on the Statement of Results.
a) Names as you would like them to appear on the certificate.
b) Sex (Male/female)
c) Date of birth
d) Syllabuses that you entered for
Corrections must be sent to BEC before the deadline of 12 March 2026. Printing of certificates will commence immediately after this deadline, so it is important to submit any request for amendments before the deadline. Requests received after the deadline will attract a fee, and costs incurred for the amendment of certificates will be the responsibility of the individual candidate.
Enquiries about Results
Please note that Enquiries about Results start immediately after the release of results on 29 January and runs for six weeks until 12 March 2026. You are therefore advised to submit all requests within six weeks after the release of results.

Types of Enquiries about Results
There are three types of Enquiries about Results services available to you. Some services will attract a fee while others will not. The services offered are indicated below.
No Results Enquiry- X Enquiry
An enquiry where the candidate has not completed all the components of an assessment and therefore cannot be graded. There is no fee charged for this service.
Clerical Check
A process of checking that all parts of the scripts were marked, and the marks were totaled and accurately recorded. Clerical check is done where a candidate suspects the grade issued is not reflective of their ability. This is done at component level. The fee for this service is P100.00 per Component.
Review of Marking
A process of reviewing the original marking after the release of results to check that the mark scheme has been applied correctly. Review of marking is done where a candidate suspects the grade issued is not reflective of their ability. This request is done at a component level. Review of marking automatically includes clerical check. The Fee for this service is P250.00 per Component.
For all the services that attract a fee, the fee should be paid before the request form can be submitted to the relevant office for processing. A full fee will be refunded for services that attract a fee if the service leads to a syllabus grade change.
Enquiries about Results Form - 2025 Examination Series
A copy of this form will be issued to private candidates who wish to make a formal enquiry about their results at BEC. The form can also be accessed through the BEC website at www.bec.co.bw. You should complete this form and submit it to BEC before 12 March 2026 either by hand or by email to rmu@bec.co.bw after payment. Please attach the proof of payment if submitting the form by email.
NB: Candidates are requested to adhere to the deadlines for all the enquiries as BEC will Not accept any enquiry after the deadline stipulated above.
Rights of Individual candidates to their results
Please note that individual candidate’s results are the property of the individual candidate and should not be publicly displayed in spaces like social media without the express permission of the owner of the results.
Candidates will be informed of how they can access their Statement of Results at a later date.
