Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants should be in their second year of studies or beyond and must provide a letter from their tertiary institution confirming the requirement for an internship. Each application must include:

  • A detailed internship cover letter

  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Academic progress report

  • Copy of identity document

  • Clear indication of the intended directorate/division

Interns will receive a monthly allowance of NS 2,244.85 for the three-month period. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08h00 to 17h00, with one hour for lunch. Candidates will also undergo interviews as part of the selection process.

Interested candidates should submit their applications to the Executive Director at the Ministry’s head office in Windhoek, or the relevant regional council offices in Mariental or Swakopmund. Applications must reach the offices no later than 17h00 on 09 January 2026.
