Gambia Immigration Recruitment 2025: Basic Fitness Test Schedule & Shortlisted Candidate List- The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) continues to uphold transparency, fairness, and strict compliance with established recruitment procedures in its 2025 Recruitment Exercise. Following thorough screening, vetting, and interviews, the Recruitment and Selection Team has successfully concluded the initial evaluation stages.

A total of 1,130 candidates have passed both the interview and vetting stages. These candidates are now eligible to participate in the Basic Fitness Test (BFT), which is the next critical step in the recruitment process.

𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬

  • Date: Saturday, 13th December 2025

  • Time: 0800hrs

  • Venue: GID Training School, Tanji

The BFT assesses candidates’ physical readiness, endurance, and overall fitness required for roles in the Immigration Department. Applicants should arrive well-prepared, hydrated, and dressed in appropriate physical training attire.

For security and privacy, the full list of shortlisted candidates has been posted at the following Immigration Stations:

  • Banjul Lasawharf

  • Abuko

  • Serekunda

  • Tanji

  • Banjulinding

  • Brikama

  • Soma

  • Bansang

  • Basse

  • Kaur

  • Farafenni

  • Barra

All shortlisted applicants are required to report to Tanji on Friday, 12th December 2025 at 0800hrs for profiling before the BFT. This profiling ensures that candidates’ details are verified and records are complete prior to physical testing.

𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞: 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝐬

Candidates who successfully pass the BFT will move on to the Written Competency Examinations. These exams are designed to assess applicants’ knowledge, problem-solving skills, and suitability for roles within the GID. Further instructions, including exam venues and schedules, will be communicated following the BFT.
