The Ministry of Higher Education, through the Department of Skills Development and Madirelo Training and Testing Centre, announces the official release of the Trade Test C, Trade Test B, and National Craft Certificate results for the November and December 2025 examinations. This release covers both main examinations and re sit assessments conducted across Brigades and Technical Colleges in Botswana. The announcement reflects the Ministry’s continued focus on skills training, assessment quality, and transparent reporting of examination outcomes.
Madirelo Training and Testing Centre, operating under the Department of Skills Development, managed the assessment process and result compilation. The examinations formed part of the national vocational training framework designed to assess practical competence and technical knowledge across multiple trades. Candidates from Brigades and Technical Colleges participated in large numbers, reflecting sustained interest in vocational education and skills certification.

For Trade Test C, which focused on practical assessment only, a total of 46 candidates sat for the examination. Out of this number, 43 candidates achieved a pass result, representing a pass rate of 93 percent. Three candidates received fail results, accounting for 7 percent of those assessed. The high success rate indicates strong practical preparation among candidates at this level.
Trade Test B recorded the highest number of candidates. A total of 1,082 candidates participated in the November and December 2025 examinations. Of these, 891 candidates passed, resulting in a pass rate of 82.3 percent. The remaining 191 candidates, equivalent to 17.7 percent, were awarded fail results. These outcomes highlight both the strengths achieved by a large portion of candidates and the need for continued academic and practical support for those who did not meet the required standard.
For the National Craft Certificate final year examinations, 495 candidates were assessed. A total of 311 candidates passed, giving a pass rate of 62.8 percent. Meanwhile, 184 candidates, representing 37.2 percent, did not meet the pass requirements. The results reflect the rigorous standards applied at final certification level and the importance of sustained preparation throughout the programme duration.
In total, 1,623 candidates sat for the November and December 2025 examinations across all categories. Of this number, 1,245 candidates passed, translating to an overall pass rate of 76.7 percent. A total of 378 candidates, or 23.3 percent, were awarded fail results. These figures provide a comprehensive overview of national performance across vocational assessments administered during this examination cycle.
Candidates are advised to access their results online through the Madirelo Training and Testing Centre student portal from 23 December 2025.
