The Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) Class of 2025 officially graduated today at Ditshupo Hall, hosted by Fairground Holdings. The event marked a significant milestone in Botswana’s higher education landscape, celebrating the achievements of over 900 graduates ready to contribute to the nation’s economic and technological transformation.

The Ministry of Higher Education was honored to officiate the ceremony, with Honourable Prince Maele delivering the keynote address. In his address, Minister Maele highlighted the exceptional achievements of the graduating cohort, noting a 70% increase in First Class passes compared to previous years and the graduation of the first MSc Strategic Management (Online) cohort. “You are Botswana’s steady path — the human capital that will drive our economic transformation,” he said. He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to human capital development, digital transformation, and the Botswana Economic Transformation Programme (BETP), emphasizing the graduates’ vital role in shaping a resilient and diversified economy.

The ceremony recognized outstanding student achievers, honoring those who demonstrated exceptional dedication, discipline, and academic excellence. Valedictorian Koketso Sekate earned top honors for the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance program, demonstrating leadership and exemplary academic performance.
