Kenya National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Business Development Skills Training for the remaining counties will run from 26 to 29 November 2025. The programme targets selected participants who received official invitations. You attend training only at your assigned centre to ensure smooth coordination and quality delivery.

The NYOTA programme focuses on building practical business development skills for youth and small business owners. The sessions help you strengthen business planning, customer management, financial literacy, market research and day to day enterprise operations. The goal is to help you grow your business and improve your income opportunities.

Training Dates and Participation

Training dates:
26 to 29 November 2025

Participation is limited to those selected and invited. You need to attend your training centre as indicated in your invitation. This supports proper organisation of facilitators, training materials and venue logistics.

Counties Scheduled for This Training Round

The programme covers several regions across Kenya. Each region includes counties where selected beneficiaries will report for training.

Nairobi Metropolitan Region

Counties: Nairobi and Kiambu
Participants from these counties will attend sessions within the metropolitan area. The focus will include business growth in urban environments, customer relations and digital skills.

Mt Kenya Region
Counties: Nyeri, Murang'a, Kirinyaga and Nyandarua
Sessions in this region will support enterprises in agriculture, retail, services and small manufacturing. You will learn how to improve product quality, manage finances and reach new markets.

Coast Region
Counties: Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Tana River, Lamu and Taita Taveta
Training will address tourism related businesses, trade, agribusiness and fisheries. You will receive guidance on record keeping, customer service, market linkages and compliance with sector regulations.

Northern Frontier Region
Counties: Marsabit, Samburu, Wajir, Mandera and Garissa
Training for this region will focus on small scale trade, livestock related enterprises and service based businesses. You will learn how to manage costs, plan for seasonal markets and strengthen business resilience.
