The National Examinations Council of Tanzania has issued an official message of support to all students preparing for the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination. The council encouraged every candidate to stay focused as the examination period begins on 17 November 2025 and runs until 5 December 2025.
The annual Form Four examination plays an important role in the education system because your results determine your next stage of study. NECTA’s message recognises the effort that students, teachers, parents, and schools have invested throughout the year. The council urged candidates to approach the examination period with confidence and discipline.
NECTA reminded students to review the timetable and make sure they know the dates and times for each paper. Proper organisation helps you reduce stress and allows you to use your study time well. Schools are also encouraged to support candidates with revision rooms and a calm environment that promotes concentration.
Parents and guardians are advised to help students with routines that support good performance. This includes enough rest, reliable morning preparation, and access to study materials. A supportive home environment helps students remain focused during the full examination period.
Teachers have also been recognised for their work in guiding candidates throughout the academic year. Many schools have continued with revision sessions and mock examinations to help students strengthen their exam strategies. NECTA encouraged teachers to keep offering academic and moral support until the last day of the examination.
Security and examination integrity remain priorities for NECTA. All schools and centres are expected to follow examination regulations. NECTA has stressed the need for strict adherence to rules to ensure fairness for every candidate. Students have been advised to avoid any form of malpractice because it affects their results and future opportunities.
