Ministry of Education Liberia Announces Regional Testing Centers for Local Scholarship Program

The Ministry of Education (MoE) announces that the Examination and Interview Exercise for all local scholarship applicants across Liberia will take place on November 15, 2025. This nationwide process ensures fair, transparent, and credible selection for the upcoming Local Scholarship Program.

Test Administration & Interview

National technical teams have been deployed across all counties to oversee the exams.

Only applicants scoring 30 points or above will qualify for the interview stage.

Regional Distribution of Testing Centers

Region 1 will serve applicants from Bong, Nimba, Lofa, and Margibi counties, with examinations conducted at the MoE Model School. This central location aims to provide easy access for candidates from these northern and central regions.

Region 2 covers the southeastern counties of Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Sinoe, Grand Kru, and Maryland. Applicants from these areas will take their tests at Zwedru Multilateral High School in Grand Gedeh County, strategically located to serve this extensive geographical area.

Region 3 accommodates candidates from western Liberia, including Bomi, Gbarpolu, and Grand Cape Mount counties. The C.H. Dewey Public High School has been designated as the official testing center for this region.

Region 4 serves the central coastal counties of Grand Bassa and Rivercess, with Bassa High School as the designated examination venue. This location provides convenient access for applicants from both counties.

Region 5 covers Montserrado County and the Central Office area, with testing scheduled at Voker Mission. This venue is expected to handle the largest number of applicants given the population density in the Montserrado area.

The Ministry has deployed national technical teams to all five regions to oversee the examination process. According to the announcement, only applicants who score 30 points or above on the examination will qualify for the subsequent interview stage of the scholarship selection process.

This regional approach to test center organization reflects the Ministry's commitment to ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities across all counties of Liberia. The decentralized structure allows candidates to undertake the scholarship examination within reasonable proximity to their home counties, reducing travel burdens and costs for applicants and their families.

The Ministry emphasizes that all candidates must report to their assigned regional centers on the examination date and adhere to the testing protocols, including bringing required identification documents and refraining from bringing mobile phones into the testing halls.

Important Note to Candidates!!!

  • Check your region and report to your assigned center on time.
  • Bring all required identification and documents.
  • No mobile phones allowed in the testing hall.
  • Follow all instructions from exam officers.

This initiative reflects the Ministry's continued effort to promote equity, accountability, and access to quality education nationwide.
