BEC 2024 BGCSE and IGCSE/GCE Certificates Now Available for Collection

The Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has announced that the 2024 BGCSE certificates for private candidates are now ready for collection. Candidates who sat for the 2024 examinations can visit BEC to collect their certificates and confirm their results.

In addition, statements of results and certificates for the IGCSE and GCE June series for 2024 and 2025 are also available for collection at BEC. Candidates are encouraged to collect their documents promptly to avoid delays or additional charges.

Certificates for government centres have already been dispatched to the respective institutions. Candidates who registered through these centres should contact their schools directly to obtain their certificates.

The Council has also highlighted that any certificates remaining uncollected at BEC after two years will incur a P250.00 fee. This policy is intended to encourage timely collection and proper management of examination records.

Private candidates and institutions can collect certificates at BEC’s physical address: Plot 54864, KT, Motsete Road, Gaborone. Postal correspondence can be sent to Private Bag 0070, Gaborone, Botswana. For inquiries, BEC can be contacted via telephone at +267 3650700 or via fax at +267 3105313.

The Council also encourages stakeholders to follow updates and additional information on their official website, www.bec.co.bw, and through their official social media channels.

Candidates are advised to ensure they have proper identification when collecting certificates, and institutions are requested to coordinate with BEC to confirm receipt of all dispatched documents. This announcement ensures that all stakeholders are informed and can take timely action to secure examination credentials, supporting academic verification and career progression.

Prompt collection of certificates helps maintain accurate records and facilitates future applications for education, employment, and professional licensing where proof of examination performance is required.
