We have said continiously that the Ntax component is a partnership between us (Npower) the federal ministry of finance,the joint task force etc.
We (npower) do not deploy Ntax volunteers, yes we recruited you via our portal but then we immediately send you to the Ctlo (Ministry of finance).
They are the one to invite you to the training after which you then get deployed.
So those of you who were preselected in 2017 under Ntax but ought not to have been preselected what we did was to invite you to change your component to Npower teach,health or agro . We are aware that quite a number of you have shown your intrest.We asked that you please stay calm because you will be part of the supplementary list which we will be sending out soon.Your name wasn't in the deployment list so there was no way you would have been deployed.
I am aware that in kaduna and some few states you have been on the neck of your focal person asking you want to be deployed.They can't deploy you till we send them your names,so please stay calm,you will be part of the supplementary list.
However those Ntax volunteers currently active in the Ntax programme,let me mention that the total number of counts we have for you is about 3653 and those of you actually enrolled and onboarded into our portal,you caught across stream 1 to stream 28. In the Ntax you tend to know yourself by stream,so those in stream 1-28 you are known to us in the portal. I can happilly report that 3476 of you are currently active in our pay role and have been paid.
Those in stream 22-28 have done their training ,some of you are deployed for almost 4-5 months now. If you remember I stated clearly that I will take up with my partners at the ministry of finance and I did.We had a meeting and we were told 445 of you that make up those streams were actually deployed but you havnt been paid.So let me apologise,it is clearly not in out character,or in the Npower team to deploy you and not pay you.The good news is that 445 of you have now been processed for payment and alot of you if not all must have received your money in the last few days and you did receive in full.
Let me mention that your date of deployment was given to us by the Fed ministry of finance team and most times your date of deployment is not equal to your date of training.What were told is that you may have been trained at orozo but it is not your date of training that determines your date of deployment,it is actually the date you get your deployment letter.
However a few of you,about 82 of you are yet to be paid because your payment record didn't match,payment came back invalid.So we are going to send your names to the Ministry of finance team, so they can be able to communicate with you,and you can rectify the issue.
About 104 of you are actually on payment hold (suspension) for one reason or the other .But of course you know yourself ,when you log on to the portal you will see that you are on payment hold.Try and rectify yourself and you will be paid.
