The Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) of Nigeria Limited and Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the 2018/2019 SPDC/PETAN internship programme. oil and gas industry.
The12-month programme is designed to assist graduates from engineering and geology/geoscience disciplines to acquire hands-on industry experience and increase their employability by attaching them to PETAN-member companies across Nigeria.
Eligibility
*Engineering or Geology/Geoscience graduate.
*Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with discharge certificate.
*Not more than three years post NYSC.

Feedback from PETAN and previous interns indicate that the programme has been extremely successful in improving the employability of graduates.
So far, about 40% of the previous interns from the four batches have been retained by the various PETAN companies while about 30% have been employed in other organisations across the country.
PETAN has over 85-member companies providing various kinds of specialised services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
