IT'S SADDENED TO NOTE THAT BAYELSA STATE GOVERNMENT HAVE NOT KEYED INTO THREE OUT OF THE FIVE SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAMMES THAT THE COMMON MAN WILL BENEFIT MASSIVELY WITHOUT CONNECTIONS
OUR DEAR COUNTRY MAN GOVERNOR, THESE PROGRAMMES HELPS IN RADICATING POVERTY AMONG THE IMPOVERISHED AND IT IS OUR RIGHT AS BAYELSANS TO ALSO ENJOY/BENEFIT FROM THE (SIP) PROGRAMMES
THE FIVE SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAMMES BY PRESIDENT BUHARI LED ADMINISTRATION.
1. N-POWER = NATIONAL Youth Empowerment Programme
2.NHGSFP = National Home Grown School Feeding Programme
3.CCT = CONDITIONAL CASH TRANSFER
4. NSIP = National Social Investment Programme
4.GEEP =Government Enterprise & Empowerment Programme
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAMMES:
1. N-POWER: N-power is a social intervention programme that engages unemployed graduates in nigeria with electronic devices paying the beneficiaries thirty thousand naira in every thirty one days, the beneficiaries are posted to their fields in N-agro, N-teach, N-health and N-tax. the programme is divided into two batches, batch A and B, Batch A engages two hundred thousand unemployed graduates(200,000) in Nigeria with electronic devices to enhance their Skills while Batch B have three hundred thousand graduates onboarded in the programme.
About two thousand unemployed graduates in Bayelsa State are benefiting from N-power programme and about Eight thousand Unemployed graduates in Bayelsa State are onboarded and posted to their various Primary Place Of Assignment (PPA), rendering their selfless services to humanity.
2. NHGSFP = This Programme feeds Primary School Pupils thrice a day but our Government have not keyed into this programme thereby neglecting our children from their right and hindering our best cooks from this rear engagement opportunity from federal Government.
3. CCT = this SIP
5. GEEP MARKET MONI= This Program gives loans to business Men/Women without collateral but moving sluggishly in Bayelsa State with few beneficiaries compared to our Sisters States.
Finally, out of the five programmes, our Bayelsa State government have keyed into just N-power and Geep Market Moni thereby making Bayelsans feel deprived of their right as Nigerians.
