The idea is to encourage tech Startups and initiate consciousness of the digital and agricultural revolution in Benue state.Agritech and social innovation hub is pioneering the Benue hack 2018 aimed at providing solutions to challenges facing the agricultural sector in Benue state.
The competition is billed to span for two (2) days during which entrepreneurs or developers resident in Benue will converge in Makurdi and will be presented with thesame problem.At The end of the competition,entrepreneurs are expected to present a preliminary proposal and skeletal software ofur tech based solution idpf they have to a panel of experts who will judge the worthiness of each entry for the grand prize.
ELIGIBILTY/REQUIREMENTS
- Entrepreneurs /Team must be resident in Benue state.
- Must be between 17-35 years of age.
- Must be passionate and willing to implement the idea.
BENEFITS
- Cash prize of #100,000.00 for the best team
- #50,000.00 for the runner up and 2 months incubation and funding of idea.
- The selected participants will stand the chance to pitch their idea to Angel investors at the event.
