These Centres will train North East youths in the use of cutting edge technologies and digital tools. The aim is to contribute, in a tangible way, to the development of the region and promote access to IT tools and skills, thereby creating jobs and deepening human capacity within the region. The program is expected to train about 400 participants per state annually in areas of Entrepreneurship and Computer Appreciation, Digital Graphic Design and Smartphone Management and Repairs. Applications are now invited from residents of the North East to join the programme.

Introduces PCNI Digital Technology Training Programme
As part of its broader mandate of developing the North East and promoting economic development, the Presidential Committee on North East Initiatives (PCNI) has concluded plans to establish digital Information Technology Resource Centres across the six states of the North East.These Centres will train North East youths in the use of cutting edge technologies and digital tools.
