General description
The French Embassy in Nigeria (Abuja) is recruiting a bilingual secretary (French and English) to start by June 2018. The chosen candidate will be under a local contract and will be paid in Naira by bank transfer. Remuneration will comprise the following:
- 30 days annual leave ;
- Medical insurance (67% covered by the employer);
- Pension contribution in a Nigerian Pension Fund Administrator;
- Payment of the 13th month bonus at the end of the year.
Duties
- Answering telephone calls
- Maintaining the secretariat as well as the agenda of the head of service
- Handling mail, tracking and following up office correspondence.
- Liaising with local authorities
- Assisting with accounting duties
- Organizing and management of documents
- Translation/interpretation
- Filing/archiving
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting (either from formal studies or professional experience)
- Bilingual and possessing interpersonal skills
- Organized, meticulous and methodical
- Having a sense of organization and able to work in a team
- Discretion and availability
- A good mastery of Office software and tools (Word, Excel)
