Apply for the 2026–2027 Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship for Liberians

The Government of Liberia is pleased to announce the availability of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. They provide fully-funded opportunities for Liberian scholars to pursue doctoral and postdoctoral research in Swiss universities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree. The scholarships are strictly intended for candidates seeking to undertake doctoral or postdoctoral research programs. Scholars with innovative research proposals and a strong academic record are highly encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

All required documents must also be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will process and forward the applications to the Swiss authorities.
