The Agro Business Incubation is relevant to the existing market demand and can support businesses that provide services, products or new technologies contributing to agricultural innovation.
The Agro Business Incubation focuses on nurturing innovative start-ups and early-stage enterprises that have high growth potential to become competitive agribusinesses by serving, adding value or linking to farm producers. The program opens new entry points which actors in the agricultural value chains can use to access new markets. They afford leverage via these entry points to accelerate agricultural development and offer the unique potential to develop small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) which can add value along these chains in ways which other development tools do not offer.
ELIGIBLITY
KADSEC APPLICATION Criteria:
To be eligible, you are expected to meet the following criteria:-
- Business located in Kaduna State
- Age between 15 – 45 years old
- Kaduna State resident
- Clear organizational vision and strategic direction
- Evidence of creativity and innovation
- High growth potential and sustainability in terms of profit
- Product/Service filling a dissatisfaction gap in the market
