CENTER ON PUBLIC DIPLOMACY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2017/2019 ($2,000)

CPD is now accepting applications from scholars and practitioners of public diplomacy for the 2017-2019 term.* CPD Research Fellows will be expected to oversee a substantive research project that will yield at least two outputs, including one publication for the CPD Perspectives on Public Diplomacy series. The second output could consist of a series for the CPD Blog, or another type of product that the Fellow develops with the Center. These outputs will be due by June 1, 2019.

CPD welcomes proposals that examine both the historical and contemporary practice of public diplomacy conducted anywhere in the world. The selected candidates will each receive a $2,000 stipend upon successful completion of the fellowship, and may receive limited research assistance from students in the Master of Public Diplomacy program or a related degree program at USC. Three non-resident fellows will be selected every year, each serving a two-year term.

Applications are due by close of business on Thursday, August 31, 2017. The results will be announced in September 2017.
