Mary James who is an NPower volunteer established a medical laboratory in Delta - She also bought some equipment with her money and support from her husband Mary James who is an Npower health volunteer posted to a community primary health care centre is contributing her own quota to its development by establishing a medical laboratory. In an exclusive report to NAIJ.com, it was revealed that Mary was posted to the medical health centre in Ughelli south but when she noticed that there was no laboratory, she decided to set up one.
This she did with her stipend and also with some financial help from her husband.
"An Npower health volunteer was posted to a community primary health care centre in Ughelli south LGA of Delta state. When she got to the primary health care centre, she noticed that there was no laboratory section. She now decided to set up a lab with her stipends and little financial assistance from the husband.
"She bought a light microscope, test strips, test tubes, reagents, and some other equipment to be able to establish a medical laboratory in the community primary health care centre.
