Created on 6th of November 2016 by Israel Bubaraye Wellington Jeremiah to help solve NpowerNG issues and to disperse cogent information about the Social Intervention Programme (SIP) as well,a platform for volunteers and prospective corps to interact across the country.,Npower Community has received massive influx of beneficiaries and prospective corp members.Hence,prides itself as the largest convergence of volunteers in Nigeria,under the Largest Post Tertiary Job Empowerment Programme in Africa.
When it came on board, It became the Official Facebook Group for volunteers of the Social Investment Programme (SIP) .
For the purpose of updating its members and constantly engaging them, "Powernaij blog" was created and volunteers were also urged to take photos while at their Place of Primary Assignment,have it tagged #NpowerNGsnap on Twitter and Facebook which was done to encourage volunteers.
