WORLD MERIT ORGANISATION IS CALLING ALL ASPIRING STORYTELLERS!
We are on the lookout for storytellers who are passionate about sharing their perspective on Gender Equality through their creativity of expression. Alongside your work being featured on our channels, you could win the chance to come down to San Francisco to attend TheRepProject Summit at Lucasfilm Studios.
Theme
Take part by producing content that tells a story themed around the universal issue of Gender Equality. Every community faces challenges with diversity, particularly when bridging the gap between genders, and through Take5 we want to collect as many diverse perspectives and stories as possible.
Share a story. It can be fiction or nonfiction; one you have lived or one you have heard; an event, an episode or a monologue. Express your creativity with no restraints.
Sustainable Development Goal 5 is Gender Equality, giving us the inspiration for Take5.
How to Participate
PHOTO ESSAY
Express your ideas and stories through a series of pictures, illustrations, or any photographic format.
Submission format:
Upload your series to a Facebook or Instagram Post, or a Google Drive folder and submit the link.
Video
Capture a short film, record an interview, perform an art-piece, recite poetry, or tell us the story you want through video.
Submission format:
Upload your video on Youtube or Vimeo and submit the link. Make sure that the video is no longer than 5 minutes.
WRITE UP / BLOG POST
Is writing your forte? You can write a blogpost on the theme. Add visual media to the blog if you want to take it to the story to a new level.
Submission format:
Submit the link to the blog.
PODCAST
Tell your story through audio by developing a podcast. An interview, a narration or anything in between!
Submission format:
Upload your podcast on Soundcloud and submit the link.
