MTN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP FOR NIGERIANS



The MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited was established for the purpose of focusing MTN Nigeria’s efforts in terms of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to help reduce poverty and foster sustainable development in Nigeria. In September 2004, MTN Nigeria Communications Limited consulted with a diverse group of stakeholders across the country to ascertain the needs of the Nigerian people. The findings of this rich consultative process enabled the development of a more focused strategy under the three portfolio areas, Education, Health and Economic Empowerment.

MTN Foundation is calling for application the MTN Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (Phase 8).
Who can apply?

Students must be in their second year at the time of application, ie they must be of the 2015/2016 admission set.

Third year students from Public Tertiary Institutions with 3.5 Grade Point Average (CGPA) or its equivalent second class upper.
Higher National Diploma students with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) programme a
Scholarship will be renewed for the existing students who have maintained a minimum of 3.5 Grade Point Average (CGPA) or its equivalent (second class upper/upper credit).

Application opens on Monday, September 18 and closes on Monday, October 9, 2017.

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and MTNF bears sole responsibility for the final selection of successful beneficiaries.
