The competition serves as a means to preserve culture by empowering young artists and emerging talent nationally. To participate, create an original piece of art made from recycled and repurposed materials to be exhibited at a public space.

The competition will reward 4 Grand Prize Winners with repurposed structures representing one of the 4 locations Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Abuja. .

All 4 Grand Prize Winners winners will receive N1,000,000 each and a chance for a solo exhibition in one Sterling Bank public community park, roundabout or space in one of the 4 Sterling Bank zonal locations- Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Abuja.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Competition details form part of these terms and conditions.

1. Entry is open to all Nigerian citizens residing in Nigeria except employees of Sterling Bank Plc (and their family members).


2. All entrants must be aged 18 or over. Proof of identity and age will be required.

3. Use of a false name, age or address will result in disqualification.

4. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or indecipherable will not be valid and will be deemed void.

5. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.

6. All entries must culturally resonate with one of the 4 states listed – Lagos, Rivers, Abuja and Ogun States.

7. Sterling Bank bares no responsibility for lost entries, damages or delay in the transit of entries to Lagos.

8. The prizes are as stated and are not transferable to another individual. No cash or other alternatives will be offered.

9. The winners are responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included within the prizes, including any necessary travel documents, passports and visas.

11. Sterling Bank reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions at any time and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.

12. In the event of a prize being unavailable, Sterling Bank reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

13. Sterling Bank hold all rights to ideas submitted for this competition.

14. The winners will agree to the use of their name, photograph and cooperate with any other reasonable requests by Sterling Bank relating to any post-winning publicity.

15. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If the winners cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Bank reserves the right to offer the prize to the runners-up selected by the judges.

16. Confirmation of the prize will be made in writing to the winners.

17. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.

18. Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final, based on the criteria set out in the promotion. No correspondence will be had over this decision.

19. Terms of the competition may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

20. The Promoter is Sterling Bank Plc at Sterling Towers, 20 Marina, Lagos.

21. In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material (or any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry), the details of the promotional material (and any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry) shall prevail.
HOW TO APPLY
1. Log on to www.sterlingbankng.com/recyclart and fill out the bio application form to get a reference number/code. 
2. Using the reference code, email a 300-word written description of your intended artwork, stating the method of execution and waste materials to be used also include a sketch and send to recyclart@sterlingbankng.com. The documents must be sent in .pdf format.
