Being a communique of the Board of Emotel Global Oil Ltd presided over by its Chairman, Prince Emorioloye Owolemi today at about 7pm in Edo State Metropolis regarding the payment for the physical verification for shortlisted applicants in the ongoing joint empowerment scheme for Niger Delta States which to come up at the affected states.
The Board resolved that no ANY payment should be placed on the Screening.
Announcing the cancellation of the 5,000 payment placed for the screening, the Chairman noted that even if any payment would be requested for the physical verification, it should be in dialogue motive by both the government and the members of the public, especially applicants.
The Statement read;
Contrary to the payment for the physical verification, I hereby cancel it. All shortlisted applicants who have not verified their names should be allowed with immediate effect and enjoying to verify their names within few days. Pending the time that our dialogue with the government will be determined, all interested applicant's should be allowed to obtain the form and printed with immediate effect. We understand the conditions of things as at now, and the need for this empowerment opportunities is to solve little of their differences not to add more. It is an act of wickedness while requesting those gullible people whom we stood up to caring for ,to pay any kobo''.
The Chairman also requested five persons from each of the seventy local governments listed as beneficiaries on this programme, who interested to partner with the company for its Joint empowerment scheme programme to fill a partnership form on the company's website www.emotelglobaloil.com/Partnership-form as from this time.
All who have not verified their names are directed to sign up at Afrosky.com before the commencement of the screening date. Also that the timetable for each state remained unchanged. Applicants are not requested to make any payment.

Rivers State- 28th August.
